Losing Elliott was a tremendous loss for all of us. He was our friend, husband, son, brother and brother-in-arms. Anyone who has ever met Elliott knows we could keep listing every positive word in the dictionary to describe what we lost and it wouldn’t be enough. But most important of all, Lincoln lost his father.
Lincoln was the center of Elliott’s world. He was so happy and proud every time he spoke of Lincoln. After being in the hospital, when Lincoln arrived to visit him, Elliott transformed. It was like Elliott wasn’t even sick. In Lincoln’s presence, Elliott had pure joy on his face.
In loving thanks for the role Elliott played in our lives, we: Travis Snider (Lincoln’s Uncle) and Thomas Tullis-Webb (Lincoln’s Godfather) ask you to donate to the Lincoln Fund. We set up the fund for Lincoln’s current and future education. All money donated will go directly into the fund. Our goal is to help Lincoln graduate from college eventually -- starting where a 2-year old starts, with his transition from day care to preschool coming up this New Year. The money for college will be transferred into a trust and invested on his behalf.
We have a long way to go. We will leave Lincoln’s Fund open for anyone who is interested in donating now and for Lincoln’s future birthday and holidays. We appreciate all the help you can give us.
